Dear Franklin Parents,

If you live near Roosevelt School, you may see some interesting activity there on Tuesday, January 25. The Police and the NJ Air National Guard will be conducting a drill on the baseball field at Roosevelt School. This Prevention Links Drill will involve the following:

· 1-2 helicopters

· A Swat Team

· A Communications Station

· Bomb Squad

· National Guard HUM-VEES

Dr. Dolan, Board members, and a number of visiting dignitaries will be present at this demonstration and Roosevelt students are being given the opportunity to witness this, as well. Mr. C., the principal of Roosevelt School has been involved in the planning and preparation for this demonstration.

You may want to pass this information along to neighbors who do not have school aged children.

Please don’t be alarmed if you happen to notice helicopters and HUM-VEES in the area tomorrow.

Sincerely,

Eileen C.
